Check out our story in the video link below:

Low self-esteem affects many people in our society giving rise to: stress, relationship problems, anxiety and feelings of defectiveness. Not to mention a lower quality of life. Your quality of life reflects the level of self-esteem you feel.

Many of us believe we know what self-esteem is, but can we actually describe it? Do we actually know how to measure our self-esteem?

Having dreams and aspirations is fantastic but if your self-esteem is so low that you don't believe you deserve better, you could end up sabotaging the good things that can and do come into your life.
Self-esteem is an essential component in a person's mental health and also for a self-actualisation.
We believe and understand self-esteem as an invitation to get to know yourself.

Therefore we invite you to come on this course with Bestselling author Ralph Quinlan Forde who will be facilitating this Learning to Exhale "Masterclass in Self Esteem, Self Compassion & Resilience".

This is a 1 day course from 9.30am to 5/6pm.

The Self-Esteem and Self-Compassion Day is a great feel-good day where you will learn:
· The importance of healthy self-esteem
· The components of healthy self-esteem
· How to improve your self-esteem
· Understanding and applying self-compassion
· The impact of good self-esteem on your life

Self-compassion is extending compassion to one's self in instances of perceived inadequacy, failure, or general suffering. Dr. Kristin Neff has defined self-compassion as being composed of three main components - self-kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness.

Self-kindness: Self-compassion entails being warm towards oneself when encountering pain and personal shortcomings, rather than ignoring them or hurting oneself with self-criticism.

Common humanity: Self-compassion also involves recognizing that suffering and personal failure is part of the shared human experience.

Mindfulness: Self-compassion requires taking a balanced approach to one's negative emotions so that feelings are neither suppressed nor exaggerated. Negative thoughts and emotions are observed with openness, so that they are held in mindful awareness. Mindfulness is a non-judgmental, receptive mind state in which individuals observe their thoughts and feelings as they are, without trying to suppress or deny them. Conversely, mindfulness requires that one not be "over-identified" with mental or emotional phenomena, so that one suffers aversive reactions. This latter type of response involves narrowly focusing and ruminating on one's negative emotions.

The course content includes the most up-to-date information on self-esteem and self-compassion. Also there is a FREE WORKBOOK with exercises designed to improve self-esteem – this will keep you going for 1 month after the course. In addition, there is also a FREE AUDIO BOOK.

Our last self-esteem & self-compassion day was a sell-out and the feedback from participants has been excellent.

Course Fee is €97 (similar courses in Dublin cost upwards of €400).
